Aroma Antico's History
Aroma Antico™ was founded in 1998 by Luigi and Gaetano Vacca in Lynbrook NY. Father and son mastered the baking of an Italian icon that dates back to Roman times, Taralli.
It all started when they were having hard time finding their beloved snack they were used to munch on almost daily when in Italy. The few imported brands they would find in specialty stores in NY were of very poor quality. The product had very little of its main three ingredients: wine, extra virgin olive oil and a mix of special wheat flours. In other words, the name and shape were the same, but the taste and quality were very different. That is when Gaetano and Luigi decided to take the “dough” in their own hands, literally. The Italian Wine Pretzels we all have come to know as Rallini™ were born in the Vacca’s family basement in Queens, NY.
Baked fresh daily, Aroma Antico™’s All Natural, Sugar-Free, Cholesterol-Free, authentic Italian Wine Pretzels, Rallini™ are a delectable bread-based snack made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Non-GMO Pure Canola Oil, Unbleached North Dakota Flour, A blend of California and NY Finger Lakes region Kosher White Wine, Sea Salt and all natural spices. These bite-size handmade treats are so versatile, they can be enjoyed alongside cheese platters, as accompaniments to your favorite dips, soups, salads, a glass of wine, or simply by themselves. Whichever way, you will savor a modern twist on an Italian classic. We are proud to say our Rallini™ are G.M.O. free product and contain no artificial colors or preservatives.
Aroma Antico's Rallini™ are now sold in supermarket chains and gourmet stores through out the United States.
